Star Wars fans and LEGO fans rejoice - there is a new set to take the "most bricks" crown.

Part of the Ultimate Collector Series (UCS), the new 75192 Millennium Falcon contains a whopping 7,541 pieces and 10 minifigures in it's luxurious box. It overshadows previous biggest LEGO set the Taj Mahal which contained 5,922 pieces and the previous UCS Millennium Falcon which contained 5,195 pieces.

The new set from above

As well as greater external detail than any LEGO Millennium Falcon before it, the set contains several interior sections such as the main hold, the rear compartment, the top gunnery station and the cockpit.

The set contains both old and new movie configurations for the Millennium Falcon with both round and rectangular radar dishes, and young and old Han Solo minifigures.

Build, play and display the ultimate LEGO® Star Wars™ Millennium Falcon™ with amazing external detailing, large cockpit, detailed interior, 7,500 elements and 2 crews! This amazing LEGO interpretation of Han Solo's unforgettable Corellian freighter has all the details that Star Wars™ fans of any age could wish for, including intricate exterior detailing, upper and lower quad laser cannons, landing legs, lowering boarding ramp and a 4-minifigure cockpit with detachable canopy. Remove individual hull plates to reveal the highly detailed main hold, rear compartment and gunnery station.

The new set comes with 10 minifigures

The set costs US $799.99, 799.99€ or £649.99 and will be in stores from October 1st 2017. VIP members can get their hands on it early from September 14th.
