The latest set in the LEGO x Nintendo collaboration is a homage to one of the greatest games of all time - Super Mario 64.

Disguised as one of Mario's iconic Question Blocks the block opens up to reveal four miniature models from Super Mario 64 - Peach's Castle; Bob-omb Battlefield; Cool, Cool Mountain and Lethal Lava Trouble.

Twenty-five years on from the launch of the Super Mario 64 video game, this set features a brick-built ? Block that opens to reveal instantly recognisable levels from the game: Peach’s Castle, Bob-omb Battlefield, Cool, Cool Mountain and Lethal Lava Trouble. There are also 10 microfigures of iconic characters to place in the detailed scenes.

The immense detail in the models stays true to the original game with Lakitu filming Mario as he makes his entrance through a pipe; King Bob-omb is sitting on top of his mountain guarded by chain chomps and cannons; Cool, Cool Mountain spirals round to include the chair lift, snowball and winter hut; whilst Yoshi sits on top of Peach’s Castle as he did when you’d completed the game.

Containing over two thousand pieces - including 10 micro-figures - the set will go on sale on LEGO’s online store on October 1st 2021.
