The first set on our list is the Eclipso Dark Palace from the DC Super Hero Girls range.

Instead, Wonder Woman and The Flash fly in the invisible jet over to the dark palace to take on Eclipso.

At 1,078 pieces this is the largest DC Super Hero Girls set ever created; and the largest non-Batman DC set ever created.

The first Batmobile on our list is the Ultimate Batmobile from The LEGO Batman Movie.

Looking like something Homer Simpson may have designed, it actually divides into 4 separate vehicles: the Batmobile, Batwing, Bat-Tank and Batcycle.

Most importantly, it comes with Polka-Dot Man. Perhaps the most terrifying DC villain there has ever been, and now part of the new Suicide Squad.

Sound the alarm! It's time for our first Arkham Asylum set on the list, and the villains have broke loose!

The Joker, The Penguin, Poison Ivy and Scarecrow have escaped from Arkham Asylum with the help of Dr. Harleen Quinzel. There's lots of playability in this set as Batman and his sidekick Robin round up the bad guys and put them back behind bars.

Next on the list we have Arkham Asylum. Erm. Again.

Sound the alarm! The Joker, The Riddler, Poison Ivy, Catwoman and Two Face have escaped from Arkham Asylum with the help of Dr. Harleen Quinzel.

Jokes aside, there's lots to love about this set. Arkham has a variety of different rooms including Harley's office, ward office, four cells, an ‘x-ray’ security scanner and a canteen as well as a separate five-story lookout tower.

Let's hope the villains don't escape again. Or at least, not in the very next set on this list...

It's the Tumbler! From the Dark Knight Trilogy!

Coming with 2 minifigures - Batman and Heath 'Joker' Ledger, this set features an armoured exterior, adjustable top wings, detailed interior and huge rubber-tread racing tires.

With 1,869 pieces, it measures over 5” (15cm) high, 15” (40cm) long and 9” (24cm) wide.

Next up we have... The Tumbler. From The Dark Knight Trilogy. Again.

This one sports 180 more pieces making a brilliant build even better. And it measures over 6 in. (16 cm) high, 17 in. (45 cm) long and 9 in. (25 cm) wide.

For some variation, it comes with Batman and Heath "Joker" Ledger minifigures. We miss you Heath :(

Let's park the Batmobile for 5 minutes to take a look at this Batwing from the 1989 Batman movies.

With over 2,300 pieces, the Batwing features removable canopy, a fully detailed interior and posable flaps.

Batman, Jack "Joker" Nicholson and Lawrence the Boombox Goon are included as minifigures.

Holy Batcave! It's a set from the Adam West era of Batman.

Containing minifigures of Batman, Robin and main villains and a wide selection of vehicles and gadgets, there's sure to be a whole heap of Kapaw, Splat and Whamm action to keep you quiet.

The classic 1989 Batmobile makes it to number 3 on our list.

At 3,306 pieces and measuring over 60cm long, it includes a slide-open cockpit with wraparound windshield, 2 hidden machine guns with a pop-up function activated by turning the turbine exhaust, and decorative grappling hooks on each side of the vehicle.

Plus there's another chance to get a hold of a Batman minifigure, this time with a brand new cape. Plus Jack 'Joker' Nicholson and Vicki Vale.

But the question on every one's lips has to be - will the Batmobile be in the new Flash movie?

Ha! If after seeing the other 53 Batmobiles on this list, you expected another Batmobile then have we got a surprise for you. The top two are not Batmobiles(!)

No instead, second place goes to this rather fantastic Joker's Manor. Full of colour and a wacky rollercoaster, it's so nice to see a set on this list without any black.

It comes with 3,444 pieces and 10 minifigures all ready for a disco 'round Joker's place.
