Today, LEGO have revealed a brand new three-in-one reproduction of one of the most iconic movie vehicles of all time.
The new LEGO Back to the Future DeLorean Time Machine consists of 1,872 pieces and can be built as one of the three cars from the movies - the original wheeled car from Part I, the hover car from Part II or the . There’s the original time machine with lightning rod and plutonium chamber from Part I; the fold-down hover conversion and Mr Fusion from Back to the Future Part II; and the whitewall tyres and hood-mounted circuit board from Part III. It looks like it will be relatively easy to change between the three designs without a complete rebuild.
The car also comes complete with a light-up flux capacitor, opening gull doors, a box of plutonium, Marty’s hoverboard and LEGO minifigure versions of Doc Brown and Marty McFly.
