LEGO Titanic Sets Sail Today

The Titanic sets sail from LEGO stores to your home

The highly anticipated LEGO Titanic sets sail on her maiden voyage today from a variety of LEGO online and retail stores including the LEGO Store in Southampton, England bound for homes across New York and the rest of the world.

The 9,090 piece LEGO Titanic surpasses in physical size anything else LEGO have created as a sea vessel or otherwise. She is 4.4 feet (1.35 metres/53 inches) long, and 1.4 feet (44cm/17.5 inches) high from keel to bridge.

Those that choose to take this brick built voyage will get to experience the first-class dining room; the ships' grand staircases, and many cabins from the different passenger classes. They will also be able to experience details such as the one of the boiler rooms, the ship’s bridge, promenade deck, reading lounge, swimming pool and many others.

One concern with the ship is that LEGO only seem to have included a limited number of life boats, whilst the capacity of the vessel is 3,320 passengers. However any minifigures who are alarmed need not worry - we have full assurance that the ship is unsinkable thanks to its revolutionary design.
