A fleet of new Speed Champions LEGO cars were revealed today. Among them was the 1970 Ferrari 512 M; Lotus Evija; Lamborghini Countach; Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro and Aston Martin Vantage GT3.
Hidden amongst the announcement was the new Mercedes AMG F1 W12 LEGO set - as driven by seven-time Formula 1 World Champion Sir Lewis Hamilton.

LEGO Speed Champions Mercedes-AMG F1 W12 and Project One
- set: 76909
- pieces: 564
- minifigures: 2
- Availability: Out now
With 564 pieces, the set replicates the Mercedes-AMG F1 W12 E Performance from Formula 1's 2021 season and the new hybrid Mercedes car - the Mercedes-AMG Project One.
The Mercedes-AMG F1 W12 E Performance model measures 19cm (7.5 inches) long and 7cm (2.5 inches) wide.
Two minifigures are included with the set, although it's a little disappointing to not see F1 superstar Lewis Hamilton not featuring as a minifigure here.
The new Speed Champions sets will release on March 1st, which gives you plenty of time to practice your sub-2 second LEGO pit stops.
