Twenty years have passed since the first LEGO Harry Potter sets hit toy stores worldwide.
Over the last two decades, the sets have become more detailed and more complicated as the fans who grew up with Harry Potter became adults. And Harry's minifigure also went through many changes starting as a traditional yellow minifigure before more realistic skin tones were introduced.
Let's take a look at the biggest sets in the series.

10. LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Astronomy Tower

The first set on our top 10 list is the Astronomy Tower - the tenth largest LEGO Harry Potter set.
There's lots to see and do here - the set contains the Potions master's classroom, Hogwarts' greenhouse, the Ravenclaw dormitory and Hogwarts' tallest tower for Astronomy class.
9. LEGO Harry Potter Attack on the Burrow

The Attack on the Burrow set features the Weasley's house - covered with brightly coloured red roofs and a wonky architecture.
One side of the house opens up to reveal the interior for additional play.
It comes with the minifigures Ron, Ginny, Arthur and Molly Weasley, Nymphadora Tonks, Bellatrix Lestrange, Fenrir Greyback and Harry Potter.
8. LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts: Chamber of Secrets

7. LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle

Set 4842 isn't the first LEGO Hogwarts Castle made, but it is the first to feature in our top 10 list.
Released in 2010, it contained 1290 pieces making it the biggest Hogwarts Castle at the time. The previous largest was set 5378 released in 2007; and the first Hogwarts Castle - set 4709 - contained 682 pieces and was released in 2001!

And finally, we have the 6,020 piece Hogwarts Castle.
Finally, a fully formed detailed LEGO model of the entire Hogwarts Castle. However, Hogwarts Castle is quite a large building, which is why the decision was made to use micro-figures to keep scale. Therefore, you'll get 24 micro-figures and 4 minifigures in this set.
Still, this is an impressive LEGO display piece measuring 58cm (22 inches) high, 69cm (27 inches) wide and 43cm (16 inches) deep. Overall, it's a superb build.
